The magnificent concert pavilion at Sun Valley Resort features an open-air, covered pavilion and outdoor lawn seating. The seated interior of the pavilion, stage, and backstage areas are all sunken below the existing grade and lawn area. Soil from the site excavation was used to grade the additional lawn seating area and multiple pedestrian paths were designed to create access to the pavilion and lawn. Loading docks, truck and tour bus parking, are all tucked out of sight behind the pavilion structure in an unobtrusive manner.
